Asphalt roof system is very popular and they consist of a fiberglass felt with asphalt and ceramic granules. They come in many different varieties of colors. They can either be 3-tab or dimensional design.

Lifespan is 20 years.

PROS: Affordable, many color selections. Versatile to cover any angle, slope or form of roof.

CONS: More susceptible to nature damage such as high winds. They will fade and crack over time.
